About Project Mixtape
Project Mixtape was created by Edward Williams III or "EWill", as he is affectionately called by his TOC colleagues and students/alumni, before it was called Project Mixtape. EWill, an award-winning music producer and audio engineer, has been leveraging his music degree and industry experience to build rapport with youth involved in the youth justice system and expose them to the many career pathways available to them within the music industry. Now as a Care Team Manager at TOC, where he helps integrate basic needs, therapeutic and behavior interventions to help youth understand the "why" behind their behaviors, EWill teaches two cohorts of Project Mixtape during Final Hour, the center's enrichment hour. During these sessions, students learn about songwriting, producing, audio engineering and video production.
